Users of Geekzcode.com are given the opportunity to see an idea they have for either an App, Program or Game created or to have an existing open source App, Program or Game tweaked or modified.
A user can submit details of their idea and start a Bounty offering the amount of Geekz Utility Tokens they wish, other users can then add to the Bounty.
Developers who are members of Geekzcode.com can monitor the list of Bounties being offered and decide to accept the challenge to create that software.
Developers will then write/create the software, submit the completed software for testing, once tested the bounty offered will be forwarded to the Developer and the project will be published for everyone to enjoy.
If the bounty is not accepted within the set time limit all donations made to that project will be returned to the Members who donated to the Bounty.
Geekzcode is based and registered in the United Kingdom. Our website Geekzcode.com is FREE to all Users, there are NO annoying pop up Ads, Mal-adware, selling your details and even tricking you to load 3rd party software you don’t want.
Unlike other sites who redirect you to 3rd party download sites all our software are direct downloads from our dedicated server and completely safe and virus free as we scan all software before posting it.
Geekzcode.com is similar to sites like GitHub and Sourceforge but with a big difference.
Users can visit our site and download Software, Apps, Games without any of the hassle or tricks mentioned above.
Developers and Programmers will be able to download the usual Development tools and Software they need, they can also join our Forum, Create and Publish their projects.
A PARADIGM SHIFT
This is only part of the story, Geekzcode is creating a paradigm shift, we are bringing together the End Users and the Developers “who until now have been the back bone of FOSS” (FOSS = Free Open Source Software) without being rewarded. Members of Geekzcode.com will have the opportunity to have a piece of Software, App or Game created or even modified by Starting or donating to a Bounty, other Members can also donate GUT’s to that Bounty.
Developers can monitor these Bounties and decide to accept a Bounty, they will then Create or Modify that Software. There are Two kinds of Bounties that can be started.
- Private Bounty (Proprietary Software) offered by companies for their private use.
- Public Bounty (FOSS) which will be posted on Geekzcode.com for everyone to enjoy and use
This will give developers an opportunity to be rewarded for their hard work.
Members and Users can also donate Geekz Utility Tokens (GUT’s) to help maintain the Geekzcode platform.
Developers who are Members of Geekzcode.com can monitor either list of Bounties being offered and decide to accept the challenge to Create that Software. Developers will then Write/Create the Software, they will then submit the completed Software for testing, once tested the Bounty offered will be forwarded to the Programmer or Team who accepted the bounty.
If the project is a private Bounty, it will be forwarded the company who started the Bounty.
If the Bounty is a Public (FOSS) project, it will be published for everyone to enjoy.
When starting a Bounty there will be an option to set a time limit.
If the Bounty is not accepted or completed within the set time limit all donations made to that Bounty will be returned.
Geekzcode will keep 10% of all Private Bounty donations.
