The MiniApps business is built upon clear idea that can help to handle specific business needs.

The main idea of this project is that anyone can create mini-applications from building blocks called templates. The platform supports all major messengers – WeChat, Viber, Telegram, as well as voice / IVR applications for smartphones.

The MiniApps Space will be independent, distributed, and self-developing community, which will facilitate the growth and adoption of chatbots/miniapps by end-users and SME’s.

For now MiniApps serves about 10 mln mobile users around the world, and sends about 1 billion messages monthly. More than 5000 development teams are registered with MiniApps. The platform is currently used mostly in the corporate sector – our existing partner network includes major Russian mobile operators and banks – Mobile TeleSystems, Alfa-Bank, Tele2, and others.

There are two main growth drivers for MiniApps:

  • growing popularity of messengers in developing countries
  • growing penetration of mobile internet use by SME’s in emerging markets

The project is a part of a rapidly growing but highly competitive market. Strong competition can be identified as a major risk to the project. But on the other hand, the project has been operating in the adjacent market for a long time.

Token is suitable for long-term investors (about 2 years). But taking into account the project features (working platform and bonuses for investors), it can be suitable also for short-term speculators.

Capturing 10% of the market looks too optimistic, despite the fact that the most of funds will be used for marketing. Let’s hope for a network effect.

Since the MiniApps platform has been already developed, the attracted funding will primarily be used for fast business scaling, entering new markets by developing the partner network and marketing of the platform with a focus on MSME segments and emerging markets.

The WhitePaper is very comprehensive and it addresses almost all emerging issues. But the roadmap shows only major stages of the project development without special details.
